With a background in marketing and advertising, and an BA in Broadcast Journalism from ASU’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Telecommunication, Whitney uses her decade plus of event experience to capture the moments that matter most to her clients, while invoking cinematic qualities to the images she captures. In 2010, Whitney completed the Executive Program for digital photography at the Chicago Photography Academy.
Whitney combines said passion for cinema with a photojournalistic shooting style, creating images that draw out emotion from the viewer. She adopts this framework for any photo shoot, whether it’s creating fine art, or PR content for some of the world’s greatest brands.
Professional, yet warm, Whitney can equally blend into the room for candid shots of a presentation or chat up your guests for a fun posed picture at the company cocktail party. Her years of service in the advertising industry ensure that you will have a quality experience when you hire her, and receive your images in a timely manner.
Whitney’s work has been featured in exhibition shows at Chicago’s R&D Gallery, and has been published on www.Adrinkwith.com. Her fine art landscapes are currently integrated into the design of popular Texas watering hole, Concrete Cowboy in Dallas.
Whitney currently resides in Chicago, IL with her fiancé and two pugs, but takes frequent visits to her desert home of Scottsdale, AZ. Her need to travel, her desire for perspective and her ambition to turn light into art continue to fuel her creative endeavors.
